Stazione (Ristorante, Pizzeria)

If you're in Malvaglia let Manuel and Susy take care of your culinary needs.

Their pizza is very good and their home made gnocchi is excellent. I normally fall for their Gorgonzola and walnuts version. 

Regular meals aside the Stazione season specials are well worth a go, especially in the autumn when their platters with game and all of the trimmings make an excellent meal. Be aware though, the portions are huge so bring your appetite!

Stazione sometimes provides small cornetti with your coffee, however, these tend to run out.

The solution is easy, pop across the road to the bakery, get yourselves from Claudio and Fabrizio a bun and bring it back for with your coffee. A nice feature of village life where people really do live and work together.

We don't normally wait to see if the buns have run out at Stazione, just head for the buns straight away.

As you might imagine, there's a story behind the name; From 1911 to1973 there was a railway between Biasca and Acquarossa, One of the two Malvaglia stops was at Malvaglia Chiesa.
